Our College is a Co-educational institution affiliated with Shivaji University, Kolhapur Maharashtra since June 1965. The College is governed by the Society Chandrahar Patil Gramin Shikshan Sanstha, Khatav 415505, and its Governing Body”. It runs as per rules and regulations declared by the Government of Maharashtra. The College comes under the “Government Aided College” category; therefore financial transactions are audited by the Joint Director, Higher Education (Kolhapur Region), Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Maharashtra, and University Grants Commission, New Delhi. The College has different Bodies to maintain all types of disciplines on campus. All the cells/committees of the institution are under Statutory Bodies and come under section 4(1) (b) of the RTI Act, 2005. The applications submitted under the RTI Act along with a postal order/demand draft for Rs.10.00 obtained in favor of The Principal, Shahajiraje Mahavidyalaya, Khatav will be properly responded to on time. All information about the college under Section 4 (1 ) (b) of RTI Act, 2005 is open to the public and it can be obtained by any citizen of India.
